The Friends of Sandborn Fall Festival are coming together for the annual festival for the community! September 28th & 29th, 2024 at the Sandborn Community Building and Park. We will have a car show, live music, food trucks, mobile petting farm, youth baseball tournament,vendors inside the community building and throughout the park, a special area for kids activities, Jonah Fish Fry, FIREWORKS, a community church service, and lots lots more!! Flowers are blooming, trees are turning green, and our calendars are filling up with events! Although Knox County always stays busy during the cooler months, the summer is when it really shines. With something happening nearly every weekend, there is no shortage of things to do!

The Vincennes University Performing Arts Department presents a “Guitar Fest.” The concert will take place on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00 p.m. (EST), in Vincennes University’s Red Skelton Performing Arts Center Theatre. Admission is Free and the public is invited to attend.
This year’s concert features VU Music’s Blues Ensemble performing “The Music of Chicago” (The Chicago Transit Authority). Special guests, VU Music faculty Susie Jackson, Drums; Dr. Claudia Bossard, Piano; and Mark Snyder, Vocals. Also performing, local group “Wood and Wire.”
With the extensive history that Knox County and Vincennes have, some may have the idea that our sites, attractions, and festivals are not family-friendly, but that could not be further from the truth! There is a multitude of family and kid-friendly events in Knox County—some happen every week!
