Weekend Roundup – A Theatrical Weekend in Vincennes

As the temperatures rise so have the number of events happening in Knox County. Farm stands and markets are opening up, local concerts, and productions are all happening more and more often. Friday, June 23rd

10 AM – 4 PM – Leah Goose at the Open Gallery

Visual artist Leah Goose’s exhibition, “Transplantations,” will only be at the Open Gallery for another week. Her series of collages use a personal connection to various landscapes in her “search for home as it would be defined by my sense of place…These visual transplantations reflect feeling lost due to my own inability to ground myself as I move through various landscapes searching for home and stability. “

7 PM – The Inn at Rose Harbor

Based on the beloved Debbie Macomber book, “The Inn at Rose Harbor” has come to life on the Old Town Players Stage. Jo Marie Rose, widowed young, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her purchase of a bed-and-breakfast in Cedar Cove, Washington. Former guests, us—the audience, join her as she reminisces about her early days as owner of the Inn. Her first guests, Josh Weaver & Abby Kincaid, were in their early 30s. Neither is eager to return to their hometown. Family has brought them back; Josh to care for his ailing stepfather and Abby for her brother’s wedding. The three-some leads us through their intriguing stories—both then, and now.

Saturday, June 24th

9 AM – 1 PM – Historic Vincennes Farmers Market

Come to the Riverfront Pavilion in Downtown Vincennes for the best selection of fresh seasonal produce, blooming annuals and perennials, farm-fresh eggs, local honey, delicious baked goods, artisan-crafted gifts, and wares, homemade soaps and so much more!

6:30 PM – 9:15 PM – Vincennes Goes Hollywood: “The Four Horseman of the Apocolypse”

Join friends at the Old State Bank to watch the second installment in a series of movie and discussion nights that focus on actors from Vincennes. In Saturday night’s installment of the Vincennes Goes Hollywood Series, viewers will be watching “The Four Horseman of the Apocolypse” starring Vincennes native, Alice Terry.
