Our December calendar is jam-packed with events! Keep reading to see some of the best events happening in Knox County this month!
The Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse will be hosting “Photos with Santa” as a fundraiser for the Clubhouse on December 10th from 9 am to 1 pm. For families with pets, they can bring in their pets from 12-1 for a photo with Santa. This event is located at the new Clubhouse at 501 S. 6th Street in Vincennes.
Meet Santa before enjoying the Children’s Center for Dance Education performance of The Nutcracker. There will be opportunities for pictures and time to tell the jolly old fellow all of your Christmas wishes!

While the annual South Knox Elementary School PTO Craft Show may be for the adults, Santa is going to be there for the kids! The SKE PTO CRAFT SHOW is held on the 2nd Saturday in December. All vendors sell homemade items. Join us this year on December 11th, 9 am-3 pm.

There is so much going on this time of year. The holidays are just around the corner, there are gifts to buy, and the new year will be here before we know it. That doesn’t mean that events in your community aren’t going on though! Here are just a few of the many events going on this weekend here in Knox County (and trust us, you won’t want to miss a single one!):
Visit with Santa at the Oaktown Community Building for an afternoon filled with fun and food!
Free soup and sandwiches will be provided.
Get your picture taken with Santa this year at the Indiana Military Museum! Children and families of all ages are welcome!
Photos are $5.00 (cash only) and will be taken in the Museum Annex. Free admittance to the Annex building for photo sales will start at 1:30 pm.
Enjoy the spirit of Main Street all decked out for the holidays at the 1st Annual Christmas Extravaganza!
On Saturday, December 4th from 8 am – 10:30 am there will be a pancake breakfast with Santa. From 8:00 am – Noon there will be opportunities to have your picture taken with Santa.
Breakfast is $6 per person
You do not have to pay to see Santa, but for a professional photo, it is $10.
