The Vincennes/Knox County Preservation Foundation is kicking off the holiday season with a home tour in the heart of historic Vincennes. On December 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., five properties of historical interest will be open to the public. Tickets will be sold for $20 at Klein Realty at 505 North 6th Street, the starting point of this self-guided tour.

View the elegant William Henry Harrison mansion by candlelight and decorated for Christmas. Experience the holiday as it may have been for the Harrison family over 200 years ago! Built-in 1803, Grouseland is the mansion built by former Indiana Territorial Governor and 9th U.S. President, William Henry Harrison. Each year the festivities carry a new theme with period re-enactors portraying characters from the territorial period. This fascinating event is very family-friendly and sure to get you in the spirit of a traditional Christmas from the past! There is no admission charged but donations are gratefully accepted.
Head out to Ouabache Trails Park to celebrate the holiday season! See their Christmas Light show and listen to holiday favorites while driving through the park.
The Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse will be hosting “Photos with Santa” as a fundraiser for the Clubhouse on December 10th from 9 am to 1 pm. For families with pets, they can bring in their pets from 12-1 for a photo with Santa. This event is located at the new Clubhouse at 501 S. 6th Street in Vincennes.
