1. “All Is Calm – The Christmas Truce of 1914″

Join the Vincennes University Alumni Association as they present, All is Calm – The Christmas Truce of 1914. The Western Front, Christmas, 1914. Out of the violence, a silence, then a song. A German soldier steps into No Man’s Land singing “Stille Nacht.” Thus begins an extraordinary night of camaraderie, music, and peace.
2. Christmas at Grouseland – “The First 10 + Ben”

View the elegant William Henry Harrison mansion by candlelight and decorated for Christmas. Experience the holiday as it may have been for the Harrison family over 200 years ago! View the presidential signature collection & hand-stitched presidential portrait quilt the night they debut!
3. Christmas Extravaganza
December 3rd, 2022
Head to the Blue Jeans Center for a day full of Christmas fun! Enjoy pancakes & pictures with Santa, followed by a chili supper later in the day and a lighted tractor parade!
4. Holiday Historic Homes Tour
December 4th, 2022
The Vincennes/Knox County Preservation Foundation is kicking off the holiday season with a home tour in the heart of historic Vincennes. On December 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., five properties of historical interest will be open to the public.
5. ABBA-solutely Christmas

All of your favorite ABBA hits with the perfect mix of Christmas music sprinkled in to celebrate the holidays. Direct from the U.K., The ABBA Show will light up your holidays with their ABBA-Solutley Christmas Show.
6. First City Christkindlmarkt

Join us for this 2nd Annual Christmas event! The Christkindlmarkt will feature artisan vendors, food trucks, cookie decorating, and a Frosty Mug Pub Crawl.

8. A Christmas Carol
December 9th – 11th, 2022 & December 16th – 18th, 2022
Dickens’ time-honored tale of the redemption of the miserable & old Ebeneezer Scrooge comes to the OTP stage with a talent-filled cast of young actors. Also included this evening will be the story of The Grouch; a tale of a grouchy kid that doesn’t like the holidays and is intent on spoiling everyone else’s holiday as well.
9. Home for the Holidays in Vincennes
December 17th, 2022
Discover holiday traditions from the bygone days during this family-friendly program. Adults will join local historian Richard Day to learn about the holiday customs of early Vincennes. See old photos from holidays of yesteryear while exploring more recent holiday history from the 1920s to the 1990s during a presentation by local historian and historic photo collector Norbert Brown. Youth will enjoy holiday crafts, play old-fashioned holiday games and listen to holiday stories.
10. Oubache Trails Park Christmas Light Show
November 25th – January 1st, 2022
Head out to Oubache Trails Park to celebrate the holiday season! See their Christmas Light show and listen to holiday favorites while driving through the park.
