While the annual South Knox Elementary School PTO Craft Show may be for the adults, Santa is going to be there for the kids! There is so much going on this time of year. The holidays are just around the corner, there are gifts to buy, and the new year will be here before we know it. That doesn’t mean that events in your community aren’t going on though! Here are just a few of the many events going on this weekend here in Knox County (and trust us, you won’t want to miss a single one!):
This year Santa is making a special stop at the Vincennes Fire Department! There will be opportunities to have your picture taken with Santa, as well as Letter-Writing and Cookie Decorating stations.
This event is free to the public when a donation to the Salvation Army is made. Donation boxes will be available at the fire station at the time of the event.
Enjoy the spirit of Main Street all decked out for the holidays at the 1st Annual Christmas Extravaganza!
On Saturday, December 4th from 8 am – 10:30 am there will be a pancake breakfast with Santa. From 8:00 am – Noon there will be opportunities to have your picture taken with Santa.
Breakfast is $6 per person You do not have to pay to see Santa, but for a professional photo, it is $10.

As a part of the 2nd Annual Christmas in the Park drive-through event, Santa will be present waving at children and passersby. There will NOT be an opportunity to take photographs with Santa; children, however, may bring letters to Santa that can be dropped off to him along the drive-through route.
Visit The Granary for their special two-day Christmas event!
The Granary will be open on Friday, November 12th from 4 pm-7 pm, and Saturday, November 13th from 10 am – 2 pm. Located at their family’s grain elevatorโAnson Farm Servicesโin Monroe City, Indiana, The Granary specializes in unique, one-of-a-kind vintage and antique items to style homes. They will have many vintage Christmas items to decorate homes for the season, as well as some giftable items and holiday Christmas shirts.

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching and the Christmas season following right behind it, it is easy to lose track of time and community events. This year though, there are multiple community events that we think you should mark on your calendar. Here is our list of Knox County’s Top 10 November Events.
For a night filled with fun and food, be sure to attend the Food Trucks on the Wabash’s Halloween Bash! There will be costume contests, live music from Jared & Luke as well as Just 1 More, and all of the food trucks you know and love!
Costume contest registration will take place from 5 PM – 6 PM. The rain date is October 26th, from 5 PM – 8 PM.
