Our county is full of history and is home to many wonderful people and events. That’s why we thought we would create a sort of ode to Knox County.
From days at the park to trips to the museum, there is so much to do in 2022! We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of things for people of all ages to do this year that’s great for visitors and locals alike! Read on to see what 2022 may have in store for you!
For the first time since 2019, public tours of the GRC Memorial Basement will take place from 1- 4 pm. Tours lasting approximately 20 minutes will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and limited to 20 people.
Tours will be of the basement of the George Rogers Clark Memorial. You will visit an area set up as a fall-out shelter and see the area underneath the Clark Statue.
Be sure to call ahead of time to make sure that there are spots available for the times that you would like to come.
NOTE: Masks are required to enter the park and must be worn at all times.

This weekend is packed full of activities! From Friday night to Sunday afternoon there will be no shortage of things to do in Vincennes.
Starting on Wednesday, September 1st and ending on Monday, September 4th, the 51st Annual Bicknell Heritage Day Parade & Festival is packed full of events that are sure to be fun for people of all ages! With contests, food, games, tournaments, and a parade; there is no shortage of things to do this Labor Day Weekend.
