The Junior Ranger programs are back at the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park. They are kicking off their summer program this Saturday and inviting kids jump into history! The first program, “3 Forts Day” will describe how kids from Vincennes lived during early French times, the American Revolution, and the War of 1812 periods. The program will be held from 11:00 am – 4:00pm on June 26 and on the grounds of George Rogers Clark NHP, 401 South 2nd Street. Below is a list of future program dates.
June 26: 3 Forts Day
Learn how kids lived in Vincennes from the early French, American Revolution, and War of 1812 periods. Musket demonstrations included.
July 24: Art in the Park
Not much of an artist? Visit the park between 1-4 pm to sample different types of art that you can do in the National Park. Quill and ink programs included.
August 14: Natural Resource Day
Learn more about the natural world including basic plant and track identification.
