“The Jester in Japan”, Exhibit – Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy

The Red Skelton Museum opened a new exhibit early this month. Donated by Red’s widow, Lothian, the new collection is a discovery into his personality revealing Red’s attraction to Japanese culture.
March 6 @ 8:00 am – March 29 @ 5:00 pm
This important exhibit was brought to Vincennes by three different organizations working together, the League of Women Voters, Vincennes State Historic Sites, and the Knox County Public Library. It is only available to view through March 29 and covers the history of Indiana’s women voters.

The downtown galleries have succeeded in bringing art outside with the First City Public Sculpture program. Sculptor and co-owner of Art Space Vincennes gallery, Andy Jendrzejewski will give a presentation on the sculptures already installed in Vincennes and the artists who created them.

The Vincennes State Historic Sites are offering a program for children to learn about Lewis and Clark in an easy learning environment with fun hands-on activities.
