More than ever we all need to stop to appreciate the beauty of the land we live on. Make a commitment to the future, recycle on a small scale, and see what a change it can make. This month the Knox County Solid Waste Management District is making it an easy effort by offering a special recycling event, “Knox County Recycles Day” for residents to bring in their recyclable items.

Christmas Lights “Lamp Pole Decorating Contest” is hosted annually at Gregg park by the Vincennes City Parks Department. Organizations come together to compete for the best design by decorating the park’s lamp poles.
Annual Christmas Lights Display at Ouabache Trails Park beginning the day after Thanksgiving the park will host the annual light presentation during the holiday season. Numerous lighted Christmas scenes will be on display for families to enjoy in safety and from the comfort of their vehicle.
The Community Light Display at Bicknell’s Northside Park will sparkling with lights this holiday season beginning Thanksgiving day.
