Come explore Indiana’s territorial capital all decked out for the holidays! Costumed interpreters will guide you through the buildings and tell stories about holiday traditions in Vincennes and beyond throughout the years. Throughout the experience visitors will get to participate in Christmas caroling, hear a variety of festive stories and enjoy cookies, cocoa and hot apple cider. This will start at the Main Site (1 West Harrison Street, Vincennes, IN 47591)

We’re celebrating Christmas at the tavern! For one night only, we’ll convert the Jefferson Academy into the Jefferson Tavern for an immersive experience complete with food, drinks, music and a short presentation on the history of taverns in the area. Staff and volunteers will be in period dress. Menu choices will be sent out to participants ahead of the event. Alcohol will be available.
