The many creations of Hoosier cartoonists are highlighted in this colorful exhibit designed to amuse and intrigue your audience. The exhibit explores the amusing goings-on of characters from comic strips like “Chic” Jackson’s “Roger Bean,” to the editorial musings of Pulitzer Prize-winning artist John T. McCutcheon. This exhibition also examines the life and work of such Indiana cartoonists.

The Vincennes public and visitors to our community can now view nine new outdoor sculptures added over the last year to the group of seven that inaugurated this three-year project. The new sculptures are located in several sites: Gregg Park, the Vincennes University Campus, Fireman’s Park, and the Vincennes Knox County Visitors and Tourism Bureau. Main Street will be open to foot traffic only for the crowd to enjoy a beautiful evening downtown. Those 21 and over can enjoy artisan beer and wine tasting, food vendors, music by local artists, and tours of the historic Pantheon Theatre now repurposed into a co-working and business incubator. The downtown art galleries, Art Space, Open Gallery, and the Northwest Territory Art Guild, will be open with new exhibits.

Old Town Players Follies
