FREE! The 2026 Knox County Watermelon Festival will take place in downtown Vincennes at Patrick Henry Square on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th. The two-day community event celebrates the region’s massive watermelon industry with live music, food and craft booths, pageants, and family contests.

Entertainment: Pageants (including the Miss Watermelon Pageant), a baby/toddler contest, cutest pet contest, and free stage entertainment.
