SEE THE RED SKELTON COMEDY SHOWCASE!
The biggest names in clean comedy in the Midwest will go head to head in honor of Red Skelton’s birthday on July 18th, but only one will win the revered Skeltie Award! Join Clint Hall, Andy Imlay, Drew Davis, Gavin Eddings, Carrie Moore, Kris Izzi, and Molly Fahrlander as they battle it out onstage. Will it be the Dry Bar Comedy veteran, the funniest man in Louisville, or the “kid the DARE program worked on” taking home the gold? Or one of our wild cards? You’ll choose! The show starts at 7 p.m. EST at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center.
Warmer weather has arrived and there is no better place to be than Knox County. With events large and small happening nearly every week, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
With the extensive history that Knox County and Vincennes have, some may have the idea that our sites, attractions, and festivals are not family-friendly, but that could not be further from the truth! There is a multitude of family and kid-friendly events in Knox County—some happen every week!
Dust off those hats & shine up those brooms (bikes)! Join in on a fun afternoon of riding with fellow witches, casting those Halloween spells (or spreading joy! This will bring smiles to people’s faces when they see a biking group of witches)! 🧹🧙🧹
Invite your friends – all are welcome! The more witches, the better!
You must come as a witch and must have a bike!
Proceeds from the ride will go to the Vincennes Parks & Recreation Department and the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center.

Have you ever been on a trip and met someone that made an impact on you? Maybe they were incredibly welcoming or made the new place you were visiting seem less scary. Sometimes a friendly face is all it takes to turn a bad trip into a good one. This is our goal with our Interview With a Local Series; to introduce you to new people—familiar faces—who we hope will not only make your visit to our small towns in Knox County better but also make you want to come back and see more…
Are you looking for something to do this weekend? We’ve got you covered! Check out one of these great events happening in Knox County this weekend!
