Rainbow Over the Bridge

Save the date for the Annual Pride Over the Wabash event sponsored by Wabash Valley Progressives. The event aims to make the community a more welcoming and safer place for ALL people. Join us in supporting and advocating for our LGBTQ+ friends during Pride Month.
Our family-friendly Pride event will feature everything from kids activities to food vendors and live entertainment.
“Rainbow over the Bridge shows support for the LGBTQ+ community, and provides a safe place – especially for our youth – to gather among friends and allies,” said co-coordinator Fernando Lozano. “So many people have expressed gratitude for the event, and they’ve told us that they feel accepted and safe.”
Rainbow over the Bridge starts at 4 p.m. with a welcome from coordinators, then live entertainment will begin at 5 p.m. with local band Buck Rogers Clark.
Entertainment continues at 6 p.m. with a drag show featuring Brock Harder, and The Randys will round out the evening with a performance set to begin at 9 p.m.
