SUMMARY:Rainbow Over the Bridge
DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the Annual Pride Over the Wabash event sponsored by Wabash Valley Progressives.  The event aims to make the community a more welcoming and safer place for ALL people. Join us in supporting and advocating for our LGBTQ+ friends during Pride Month.  \n\n\n\nOur family-friendly Pride event will feature everything from kids activities to food vendors and live entertainment. \n\n\n\n“Rainbow over the Bridge shows support for the LGBTQ+ community\, and provides a safe place – especially for our youth – to gather among friends and allies\,” said co-coordinator Fernando Lozano. “So many people have expressed gratitude for the event\, and they’ve told us that they feel accepted and safe.” \n\n\n\nRainbow over the Bridge starts at 4 p.m. with a welcome from coordinators\, then live entertainment will begin at 5 p.m. with local band Buck Rogers Clark. \n\n\n\nEntertainment continues at 6 p.m. with a drag show featuring Brock Harder\, and The Randys will round out the evening with a performance set to begin at 9 p.m. \n\n\n\nOur primary sponsors this year include Insight on the Wabash\, Vincennes University and Yonder Spirits\, among others\, so make sure to give them your business! \n\n\n\nFor more information or to volunteer\, check out our Facebook page or our website\, or contact Fernando Lozano at 323-559-1954 or send an email to lozanoartanddesign@gmail.com. \n\n\n\nSee you on June 25th!
