“Spirit of Freedom in Early Vincennes”- Commemoration of US forces capturing 40 British soldiers along the shores of the Wabash, as well as 8 boats of clothing and Native American trade goods. Registration is required and seating is limited. The registration fee is $10 and includes the program, dessert and a drink. The event is open to the public. The first 40 who arrive will receive a 250th American Revolution Anniversary pin. Parking is available across the street in the city…

The many creations of Hoosier cartoonists are highlighted in this colorful exhibit designed to amuse and intrigue your audience. The exhibit explores the amusing goings-on of characters from comic strips like “Chic” Jackson’s “Roger Bean,” to the editorial musings of Pulitzer Prize-winning artist John T. McCutcheon. This exhibition also examines the life and work of such Indiana cartoonists.
