Homeschool Day: The Printer and Their Shop
Today, we can produce documents in minutes and have the literary world at our fingertips! But in the early Republic, literacy and owning a book were rare. In this homeschool event, students will discover how newspapers were created, learn the intricacies of printing on old-fashioned printing press and make their own printed piece. This program will be led by costumed interpreters. This event will take place at 1 W. Harrison St., Vincennes
