FREE! The 2026 Knox County Watermelon Festival will take place in downtown Vincennes at Patrick Henry Square on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th. FREE! Let’s start 2026 Watermelon Fest on a high note! Join us downtown for live music with The Fun Dunns and kick off a weekend full of fun, food, and community celebration! Sponsored by Miracle Clean Auto Detailing and Body Shop. Bring your friends, family, lawn chairs, and picnic blankets, and we’ll take care of the entertainment. Food trucks and watermelon treats will be close by. It’s the perfect way to celebrate summer and get the festival weekend started

Live music by the Jay Fox Band 6:30-11:30 PM. Early entertainment at 6:15 PM will include the Color Guard of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, beginning at the Community Center and continuing to the Woods. Authentic German meals will be served at the Woods, beginning at 6 PM. Families can get the same great German meals at the Highland Woods Community from 6-8pm.
