Vincennes Kiwanis 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament
June 8 @ 8:00 am – June 9 @ 5:00 pm
The local Vincennes Kiwanis is holding its second annual pickleball tournament on June 8 and 9 at Gregg Park.
As an organization of dedicated volunteers and community leaders, Kiwanis strives to better the community and the lives of children through fundraising and volunteer opportunities. With the help of local businesses as sponsors, Vincennes Kiwanis is holding a pickleball tournament to raise money for their club in order to provide scholarships and other donations to children in the Knox County community.
“We held our first tournament last year and it was very successful,” stated Jackie Foley, Pickleball Committee Chair. “We are happy to once again offer this opportunity and are excited to be the first tournament on the newly renovated courts at Gregg Park. All of the proceeds we raise goes right back to our community whether it be scholarships, purchasing shoes for children or making donations to other non-profits.”
The pickleball tournament will be held during the second week of June with the men’s and women’s teams playing on Saturday, June 8 and mixed doubles teams playing on Sunday, June 9. Registration is required and can be found at bit.ly/4bnyyVx or on the Kiwanis of Vincennes Facebook page. Players can also visit and search for the tournament on pickleballbrackets.com.
