Vietnam Veterans Appreciation Day – Indiana Military Museum

In honor of Vietnam War Veterans, the Indiana Military Museum will present a Vietnam War Living History Event on Saturday, August 15. The day is filled with outdoor activities including battle scenarios, Veterans/Living History Reenactor demonstrations, military artifact vendors and food vendors. The museum will be offering “Huey” helicopter rides for a fee of $100 per person with children age 12 and under riding for $50/each preregistration begins at 9:30am. *Any Vietnam, Korean or WWII Vet may ride for FREE. Special Vietnam War exhibits will be on display. Medal of Honor Recipient and Vietnam War Veteran Sammy Davis will be present to autograph his book, “You Don’t Lose Until You Quit Trying”. Copies of the book will be available in the museum bookstore. *The Indiana Military Museum is located at 715 S. 6th Street, Vincennes.
