Each episode features a local professional AND a local child artists artwork! There will be hors d’oeuvres, photo backdrops, and all People In Your Neighborhood Curriculum will be on display! Come enjoy this free event, learn about how this program can be used in classrooms and daycares to learn about different people in their neighborhood that they might see in their day to day lives. People In Your Neighborhood is an engaging educational video series designed to introduce children to the many careers and people that make up the world around them. Each episode features individuals from a wide variety of professions and backgrounds, helping children explore the important roles people play in their communities every day. This program introduces children to a wide variety of helpers that they might encounter such as Police Officer and Firefighter as well as medical professionals they might need such as Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Audiologist, Optometrist, and Podiatrist.
