The Indiana Volkssport Association with George Rogers Clark National Historical Park will present a volksmarch, “George Rogers Clark Historic Walk with Heroes” on Saturday, February 22, 2020. A Volksmarch is literally a “folks walk” or a walk for the people. Much of the walk is on paved roads and will take place no matter the weather conditions, so participants are advised to dress appropriately. Period clothing is encouraged, but not required. Participants should register at 9:00am at the park’s visitors center, then will board a bus to be taken out and dropped off to begin the hike at 10:00am. Everyone is welcome to this free event however, each participant must register at the start point. *Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
