First Friday Art Walk
October 2 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The Open Gallery
This exhibition comes from a place of deep sadness and perhaps even regret. And of course, also, a place of deep anger, hurt and despair. In considering the subject, these artists show sensitivity to the viewer while keeping an eye on how they express their hatred for another’s actions towards them.
Art can be a healing process, building forgiveness and release, for others and for us. Art stirs us, can make us uncomfortable, and helps us think more deeply about ourselves and about our world. Art ultimately is simply distilled experience and vision.
Gallery hours: Tuesday- Saturday, 12:30-4:30p.m.; closed Sunday and Monday.
The Northwest Territory Art Guild
next exhibit will be showcasing local artists work in the juried art show to be held on September 4th.
The back of the Guild houses other art by fellow members for sale.
Art Space Vincennes LLC will be hosting Amy DeLap’s Past is Prologue, an overview of artist Amy DeLap’s mixed-media work, spanning the years 1978 – 2023. The exhibit will take place September 4th- October 23rd.

First Friday Art Walks take place in downtown Vincennes, March – December. Receptions held at 3 downtown art galleries: Art Space Vincennes LLC, Northwest Territory Art Guild, The Open Gallery.
