A Visit with Theodore Roosevelt circa 1915

March 9, 2022 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

A visit of an hour to an hour and a half would include stories of the Roosevelt children in the white house, stories of days as a cowboy, stories of overcoming disabilities and sickness, and maybe even how the Teddy Bear got its name. There was so much more to Theodore Roosevelt and his presidency. His life was one big adventure and he went after everything as if a knight on a quest. His legacy is more than the national park system and conservation matters. Gib Young of Huntington, Indiana has been bringing the most interesting and most active President in our history to life before children from Boston to Seattle.

Mr. Young has performed at hundreds of venues including The White House, Mt. Rushmore National Memorial, Devils Tower National Monument, The JFK Library, The Smithsonian Museum of American History, The Lincoln Boyhood Home, The Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Women’s Rights National Historical Park in New York, The Grand Canyon Nation Park, and George Washington’s Mt. Vernon as well as scores of schools.
