16th Annual Red Skelton Festival – Red Skelton Museum & Performing Arts Center

Our very favorite “clowning around” festival is back! The 16th Annual Red Skelton Festival will be held from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 17 on the grounds of the Red Skelton Museum and afternoon entertainment inside the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center. The fabulous Red Skelton Parade begins at 11:00 am starting on Main Street (downtown Vincennes) and marches up Second Street to the Red Skelton Museum. From 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, great games for kids and vendors will be on the grounds. The “Clown Follies” will be held on the main stage at 12:00pm featuring guest clowns and Mr. Puppet. A donut eating contest is scheduled for 1:30 pm, The Magic of Chippo the Clown at 2:00 pm, and bathtub races at 2:30 pm. Events inside the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center include The Magic of Col. Bill Birchfield at 1:00 pm, Red Skelton stories at 2:00 pm, and the “The Red Skelton Hour” TV episodes at 3:00 pm.
