WWII Living History Event – Saturday, May 1st and Sunday, May 2nd

The first weekend of May starts off with a “bang” during a special event hosted by the Indiana Military Museum.  The Spring WWII Living History Event is staging a full schedule of events including flyovers and battle reenactments (weather permitting).

May Day on Main – Monday, May 3rd & Saturday, May 8th

It’s perfect weather to set off on a shopping spree and with Mother’s Day right around the corner, the “May Day on Main” merchants have great solutions for the perfect gift.

Tourism Week Chamber After Hours – Tuesday, May 4th

National Travel and Tourism Week is coming up and in the spirit of getting outdoors to explore we have a great opportunity for you.  Beautiful Fox Ridge Nature Park is one of Knox County’s gems for recreation. Join us for a special Chamber After Hours Event to celebrate tourism in your hometown!  Enjoy hiking the trails, exploring the different ecosystems of the park or pack a picnic and have dinner.

First Friday Art Show – Friday, May 7th

Art fills your heart and soul, and you may find what you have been searching for at First Friday Art Show.  The artists of the Northwest Territory Art Guild invite you to browse through May’s collection and take in the works in the front gallery John Decoursey.

Second Sunday Nature Walk Sunday, May 9th

Learn more about our feathered friends during“Birds!!!”, the next “Second Sunday Nature Walk” offered by naturist, Terri King.  Mrs. King guides onlookers through the scenic trails of Ouabache Trails Park to provide insight on these creatures.

Second Friday Art Talk – Friday, May 14th

Sculptor and owner of the ArtSpace Gallery, Andy Jendrzejewski welcomes the public to the next Second Friday Art Talk.  Jendrzejewski’s talk will focus on “Ronin”, one of the First City Sculpture Project sculptures located next to Eyeworks.

Red’s Roaring 20’s Annual Gala -Saturday, May 15th

Get ready to kick up your heels at “Red’s Roaring 20’s” Party!  The evening begins at 6:30pm and includes a silent and live auction, dinner and drinks (cash bar) and features music by the “Tin Pan Alley Cats”.

Spirit of Vincennes Rendezvous – Saturday, May 29th and Sunday, May 30th

The most anticipated event of the season is coming up on Memorial Day weekend.  Spend Saturday and Sunday reliving our past during this special history living event, the “Spirit Vincennes Rendezvous.
