Sunday Nature Walk

Enjoy the natural beauty and diversity of one of our county parks! Join Master Naturalist Terri Talarek King for a nature walk on Sunday May 15 at Ouabache Trails Park located just north of Vincennes, Indiana, at the end of Lower Fort Knox Road. Participants will meet at the Sacajawea Shelter House at the far end of the park’s lower loop at 2:00 pm Eastern, then begin the walk. The walk is planned for Trail 7. Walkers should be prepared for wet areas in the lower trail section and steep slopes in the upper area. Exploration and discovery are the emphasis while going through the various changes of environment along this trail. There is no fee or registration, and all are welcome, though Trail 7 presents challenges. The walk will proceed rain or shine.
