Knox County Goes Native: Grow Native Habitat Starting at Home
Public Launch Event on April 24 at Riverfront Pavilion
The new Knox County Goes Native initiative will be having a public launch event on Saturday, April
24, at the Riverfront Pavilion in Vincennes, from 9:00 am to noon Eastern.
This is a free, fun, family-friendly event with information, displays, children’s activities, garden tours,
door prizes, and more.
Masking and social distancing are strongly recommended.
Knox County Goes Native: Grow Native Habitat Starting at Home is a partnership between the
Knox County Soil and Water Conservation District, the Knox County Cooperative Invasive Species
Management Area, and the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park.
The initiative strives to connect native plant landscapes for wildlife and connect people with nature
through education, assistance, and inspiration.
