“Second Sunday” Nature Virtual Walk
April 13, 2020 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the “Second Sunday” Nature Walk scheduled for April 13 has been cancelled. However, the public can still enjoy the event through a “Virtual Early Spring Wildflowers Walk” posted to Facebook on that date. Please go to “The Nature of Knox County, Indiana” or to the blog called “Terri of the Trails”, accessed by going to terriofthetrails.blogspot.com. It will also be sent via email. To be added to the email list (or to ask questions about the walks), contact leapingfrog55@yahoo.com. Photos and materials will be included in the post enabling participants to take a “virtual” walk on their own to see and learn about April wildflowers of Ouabache Trails Park. In the same manner of the “Second Sunday” Nature Walk, people will use materials to do their own “real” walk on the same trails while practicing social distancing. Ms. King encourages everyone who is able to still get out and enjoy Nature and get fresh air and exercise. Events are FREE, require no registration, and are suitable for all ages.
