Knox County Fair Demonstration And Classes

July 15 @ 1:00 pm July 18 @ 9:00 pm

If you have an interest in learning about weaving, you have two opportunities. On Tuesday evening, several weavers will be present to demonstrate the type of weaving that they work with. On Wednesday, Knox County’s own Peggy Taylor will teach a class on a cardboard loom and you will be able to finish a project and take home the loom! On Wednesday evening, it will be the kid’s turn to take part in some craft activiites in the air conditioned building! There will be rock painting, crocheting, weaving, sculpting with clay, and jelly fish, pin wheel, and piggy bank making. And, the kid’s can ride a bicycle and make a smoothie!

Thursday brings back last year’s favorite lesson on working with bees and honey! The Brock’s will let you know what you need to get started.

Friday, Tonya Short will provide cooking tips for using a pressure cooker and have some goodies for tasting!
