May 6 is Get Moving Monday and you’re encouraged to get out and explore the Hoosier State. From zip lines, bikes and canoes to caves, trails and nature preserves, there are numerous ways to find adventure in Indiana, and many of them are free of charge. Wayback Wednesday celebrates Indiana’s historical destinations with discounts at more than 60 locations around the Hoosier State on May 8. Founded in 1816, Indiana’s history dates back even further than that. From national memorials and incredible museums to military marvels and state historic sites, there are so many stories to be told and history lessons to be learned on Wayback Wednesday.
Thirsty Thursday is the perfect excuse to enjoy a craft brew, artisan spirit or local wine on May 9. A fast-growing industry, Indiana establishments annually bring home national awards for their wines, brews and spirits. With discounts at locations around the state, Thirsty Thursday is a great day to get out and sample local beverages.

There are many places to celebrate locally each day. On Thursday, May 9th the Visitors Bureau is hosting a Chamber After Hours at the McGrady Brockman House regional history/genealogy research center from 4pm to 6pm. Guests can view Uncle Billy Green’s collection of paintings and newly digitized documents from as early as the 1790’s. Enjoy live music and a hors d’oeuvres reception.
