As an actor, mime, stuntman, comedian, clown, puppeteer, magician, producer, and director, Reed Steele has performed literally thousands of times on stage, television, and film from Los Angeles to New York. Reed is an advocate of arts in education and has been an educator artist for 40 years for the National Endowment for the Arts, Indiana Arts Commission, Arts for Learning Young Audiences of Indiana, New Jersey, New Orleans, and Kansas City Chapters, and collaborated with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. He graduated from Ball State University (BSU) with degrees in education, theatre, and speech in 1979. As an undergraduate student, he was was the founder of the BSU mime company Mime Over Matter. In addition to the arts, Reed is heavily involved in Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology(STEM) education and is the Director of Saturn V Education. With more than forty years of experience as an educator, Reed has been working in aerospace education for more than thirty-five years. He has developed multiple aerospace education programs for NASA, Challenger Learning Centers, schools, summer camps, scout organizations, and special groups around the country. Reed has also served as an aerospace education consultant in Indiana schools.
