SUMMARY:VU Performing Arts Department Presents- Women's History Month Recital
DESCRIPTION:The Vincennes University Performing Arts Department will present a free concert\, featuring the VU Woodwind Ensemble\, on Thursday\, March 5\, to celebrate Women’s History Month. \n\n\n\nThe performance will take place at 7:30pm at the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center\, located at 20 W. Red Skelton Boulevard on the Vincennes campus. \n\n\n\nThe public is invited to attend. \n\n\n\nSelections performed will include solos\, duets\, and ensemble pieces that were all written by talented women. In collaboration with the Vincennes University Art Department\, there will also be artwork\, done by our creative VU art students\, hung around the lobby of the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center to honor Women’s History Month. \n\n\n\nJoin us for an evening of inspiring music and visual art as we celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in the arts.
