SUMMARY:Second Sunday Nature Walk:  "Bugs\, Bugs\, Bugs"
DESCRIPTION:What’s a Bug? That’s a pretty broad term\, and people tend to call a lot of things “bugs” that are not insects. How do you know if it’s an insect or something else? And\, what kind of insect is it?  Meet with local Independent Naturalist Terri Talarek King on August 9th at Ouabache Trails Park for a bug-hunting adventure\, to find bugs\, look at them more closely\, and learn about them. Also\, learn why bugs\, or insects\, are so important!!  A magnifier will be very helpful. A limited number will be available\, but anyone who has one should bring it. There will also be some “bug viewers” available to use.  The walk will begin at 2:00 pm Eastern at the Sacajawea Shelter House\, at the far end of the park’s lower loop road. Depending on trail conditions that day\, the walk will be using all or some of the following: Trails 6\, 5\, 4\, and the lower part of Trail 7. There may be some steep slopes. Some trails may also be wet and muddy.  Bugs\, Bugs\, Bugs! is part of the Second Sunday Nature Exploration series for 2020. It is suitable for all ages\, and families are encouraged.
