DESCRIPTION:The Red Skelton Comedy Convention and Parade is an annual celebration of the legendary Vincennes-born comedian’s life and clean humor. Centered at the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy and the Red Skelton Performing Arts Center (20 Red Skelton Blvd)\, the event features a downtown parade\, classic comedy tributes\, and live stage performances. \n\n\n\nNight at the Museum- Spots are limited! \n\n\n\nAn interactive experience in the museum and see Red’s characters “Come to life!” \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n$ – These events hove a separate cost and advance registration is required. ** \n\n\n\n5:00 PM \n\n\n\nRed Skelton Sites Tour with Doug Carroll $$Visit many sites around Vincennes that were important in Red’s life\, including his birthplace\, places of employment and inspiration and his father’s gravesite. \n\n\n\nClick Here to Purchase TicketsTickets are $5There are three tour options: please select which tour you would like to take. \n\n\n\n6:00 PM Red Skelton’s Pledge of Allegiance and Patriotism talk \n\n\n\n6:30 PM Jazz on the Grass with Wade Baker \n\n\n\n7:30 PM  Night at the Museum $$A special trip through the Red Skelton Museum on the evening before Red’s birthday. See special people from Red’s past “come to life” to tell stories of his humor\, generosity and connection. Don’t miss this one of a kind event.
