DESCRIPTION:VINCENNES\, Ind. – Thirty-six local teens have been cast for the musical “Grease\, Teen Edition” which opens Aug. 8 at the Old Town Players Theatre & Arts Center\, 432 Broadway. Performances will take place August 8-9-10 & 15-16-17. \n\n\n\nShow times on Fridays and Saturdays are 7 p.m. (EDT) and Sunday shows begin at 3 p.m. Tickets sold at the door cost $15 for adults\, $12 for students (age 13+)\, $12 for seniors (age 60+)\, and $5 for children (under age 13). A discount of $2 is available on adult\, student\, and senior tickets purchased in advance at Impressed Coffee\, Eyeworks\, First Vincennes Savings Bank\, and the Vincennes University Bookstore. \n\n\n\nGroup rates and advance reservations are available by contacting Shari Phillips\, 812-882-8269\, or emailing oldtownplayers@gmail.com. At the heart of the story is the romance between hot-rodding greaser Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town\, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret romance in summer\, but now back in the context of school\, peer-pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. Can Danny maintain his cool dude status and still get make demure Sandy his girl?  \n\n\n\nOLD TOWN PLAYERS  \n\n\n\nSince 1977 Old Town Players\, Inc.\, has been dedicated to presenting the performing arts as a means to stimulate and inspire though exceptional artistry.
