SUMMARY:Dedication to the French Oath of Allegiance Signers
DESCRIPTION:This event is the dedication of a monument which will erected to honor the signers of the French Oath of Allegiance to the United States in 1779.  When Vincennes was taken by George Rogers Clark and his army\, the French residents signed an allegiance to George Rogers Clark.  This monument has been funded by many descendants of the original French families.
