He participated in the On-Ramp Creative Entrepreneurship Accelerator Program for Working Artists sponsored by the Indiana Arts Commission and has been working with Pantheon Theater services to develop a new venture\, “Opti-Viz Media”. \n\n\n\nVictoria Kramer’s exhibition Spirit of Collaboration will present ceramic works featuring raku glazes\, which produce earthy colors and surface textures. Victoria\, a graduate of the University of Evansville\, lives outside of Vincennes.  She considers herself a groundskeeper and potter.  She states: “It is the act of doing and to keep moving that drives me forward.  It is an exciting act to pull the wares from the flames of fire to see the results that the spiritual forces influence has deposited on the completed ware. \n\n\n\nIn this exhibition\, Victoria has collaborated with her sister-in-law\, Susan Vieck\, a floral designer and Master Gardner\, with many years of experience.  Susan has created floral arrangements that harmonize with the pottery. Victoria states: “Our work is simply a statement of working in tandem with people and natural elements to augment the presentation of the wares.  Susan has an innate and speedy way to pull the natural elements together.” \n\n\n\nWork by Guild members will also be on display and for sale. \n\n\n\nRegular gallery hours: Tue – Sat 11 am – 2 pm. Additional hours by appointment; contact the gallery via Facebook. \n\n\n\nThe Open Gallery 329 Main will continue through June One Thing Leads to Another\, and another: Recent Paintings by Ryan McKain\, with new works not previously exhibited brought in for this month’s show.  McKain\, an Evansville artist\, uses an energetic color palette to create gestural abstraction based on the human face and figure.
