DESCRIPTION:Mayor Yochum has confirmed the dates for “Christmas in the Park” for the City of Vincennes. On Friday\, December 4 and Saturday\, December 5 participants will have the opportunity to create a stationary float or Christmas display in Gregg Park.  Instead of the parade driving past you\, you will be driving by the parade from the warmth of your own vehicle.  Also in the works is a live nativity scene and Santa making an appearance both evenings. In order to keep Santa healthy for Christmas\, there will be no sitting on his lap this year. However\, if children want to bring a letter to Santa\, they will be collected for him to read later. \n\n\n\nFor those interested in creating a stationary float/display\, the entry form is available to download from this website under the Brochures & Guides tab of this website.   \n\n\n\nPlease direct any questions to the Mayor’s Office at 812-882-7285.
