SUMMARY:Build-and-Fly Program
DESCRIPTION:Youth interested in Aviation or Technology ages 8 – 18 years old are invited to the Build-and-Fly Program at the Mid-American Air Center in Lawrenceville\, Illinois.  This program is designed to be a hands on building and flying experience with remote control aircraft to give youth a chance to experience the fun of flying first hand and promote R/C model building/flying\, full scale sport flying and careers in Aviation.  The initial building session will be held on Saturday\, February 15 from 8:00am – 12:00pm (CST) and the Club Fly-In Breakfast will be held on Saturday\, February 29 from 8:00am – 12:00pm (CST).  Each participant will have an opportunity to work on building the club’s project airplane\, fly a RealFlilght R/C flight simulator\, learn about principles of flight\, and fly an R/C trainer airplane with an instructor (weather permitting).  Interested individuals should email sstine99@aol.com to register for the event.  The cost is $10/participant with lunch and drinks provided.
